How the heck am I supposed to write a review for a book like this? This book was FAN-EFFING-TASTIC! I am beginning to see a pattern in my reviews. Every single time a book takes my breath away, it seems to take away my thinking, typing and just overall reviewing abilities!! It sucked me in so much I didn’t even stop to make a single edit!!

I know there are so many books out there that give you the feels, but Of Winged and Creatures & Nesting Grounds gave me the feels on a completely different level (as in chunks of it – see I already make no kind of sense). Let’s break it down; otherwise this review will be an ample mess of nonsense.

Before going into OWACANG, I wanted to let it be known that I was super excited to dig in due to my reading just only one other book from this author so far and that book, my friend – was amazing as well! So go add the other book, A Field Guide to Catching Crickets to your TBR or just one-click it. TRUST ME. I bet A. Wilding Wells other two releases prior to this are just as AMAZINGBALLS as well, and I am truly dying to find time to get to them as it's sitting on my shelf patiently waiting for me. Oh sorry, I am getting off topic with this specific book review. But crap you guys... go read the others or at least back-track like I am!

Okay, let’s get back on track with the FEELS of this crazy-awesome book.

Before going into this gem, the cover got me feeling like there were ants in my pants and that this book is not going to get into my hands fast enough and from the blurb itself I had this whole idea of what this book will be about. Generally speaking, I am pretty damn good at guessing when it comes to a blurb or those teasers but AWW pretty much blew me out of my Miss-Know-It-All crap.

I imagined that I would go into this book giddy-like but NOPE, from the very first page I was shocked not in a good way either but in a very good way (clear as mud) and immediately I fell in love with Hunt while I yearned to reach out to comfort him but let’s be real, I think I needed the comforting more. I did not expect it what-so-ever, my heart was already hurting. And as I read on, I could not stop laughing and I mean laugh out loud kind of laughing and not just your typical typing in of LOL and barely a smirk in person but I was full-on laughing. Yeah... from one emotion to another in chunks and my response was so real that I may look a little coo-coo.

The next portion was my hard-on, ahem… I mean my full-on rooting for Hunt whole-heartedly and at the same time I was so angry at another character in this book. I mean the kind of throat-punching angry! If only there was an option of placing these parts on your heart (in this case on my fist) that makes you feel so much and I can somehow gravitate into that life and do some throat-slashing damage! Once that feeling settles in snugly like it belongs there; AWW takes you on a whirlwind of believing things will be okay and she then STOMPS on your heart and crush it like you stole her cocktails! She makes you feel all safe like everything will be okay then she pulls you into something far worse than you originally thought and just keeps on messing with your emotions! Which effing sucks in such a torturous wonderful way that I apparently love since I keep forging on for more.

Not only did I fall in love with the hero and heroine in this story but I fell in love with the secondary characters whole-heartedly as well. The unconditional love of family and friends is crazy real and their quick-witted, crazy-bantering and give it to you straight without sugar coating crap is so refreshing. I mean these characters are the kind of characters everyone dreams of having in their lives!

<b>A Thousand Breathtaking Stars for OF Winged Creatures & Nesting Grounds</b>

The 5 Star Rating does not do justice to this author or this story. A. Wilding Wells has rapidly become one of my go to authors, an unquestionable one-click. Her writing style is one of my favorites, her attention to details and how these become part of the story and its development is outstanding; I have become quite a fan of her name choosing background stories for each of her characters from previous work, and this one is no exception.

Onto Of Winged Creatures & Nesting Grounds, I can just tell you wow, WOW, W.O.W!! If you want a love story at its best, this one is the one to go to. It is alive with happiness, playful quirkiness, friendship, family, love, and that vulnerability that makes you love it even more.

In this story, A. Wilding Wells gift us Hunt Hardick and Happy Go Lucky (Remember that name choosing I told you, perfection!) First page read, and I knew I was going to love them. Family plays an important role in their lives, and has greatly influenced who they are as adults and their relationships with others; Hunt does not do goodbyes, and Happy had love, once, or so she thought.

Mr. Goodtime as Happy calls him; I think I concur with her! * wink wink *, is a sexy and handsome gynecologist that bears his soul on his sleeve, with a massive heart that just keeps on loving and loving no matter what the circumstances are. He has a knack for helping all those who come into his life, which is a good thing; however, things does not always go as easy as he wants them to go.

<b>Happy Go Lucky,</b>

A playful and quirky girl with a love for Christmas lights and sequins; she is beautiful soul searching for freedom and love, yet feels trapped in a cage unable to spread her wings. Family secrets and build lies has left Happy with trust issues, life has not been and is not easy for Happy, but she is learning to be a new person and her journey to reach her goals is one of a kind.

Hunt and Happy, they both have plans; plans that while sharing the same ultimate goal, they seem to lead them in different directions. Their relationship is not an easy one, yet, which one is it, right? Happy, while feeling trapped in a cage, cannot fully reach for the key that Hunt has in his hands.
